My name is Olivia Dunne, but people call me Livvy. I was born on October 1, 2002, in Hillsdale, New Jersey. I began doing gymnastics when I was just three years old because I liked the sparkly pink leotards. I didn’t know then that gymnastics would become a big part of my life.

Early Life and Start in Gymnastics
When I was five years old, I got a chance to join the pre-team at my gym, ENA Paramus. This is where I started competing in gymnastics. I loved the sport right away and wanted to do my best. At nine years old, I was already competing at Level 9 and went to regionals. The next year, when I was ten, I moved up to Level 10. I set a goal to qualify for the U.S. Challenge. I was very happy when I won second place in the hopes division.
In the 2013-2014 season, I worked hard to improve my skills. Because of my hard work, I became the youngest athlete in the country to qualify as a Junior International Elite gymnast. I competed in the 2015 American Classic and finished 8th in the all-around category. This score allowed me to compete at the 2015 P&G National Championships.
Growing Popularity on Social Media
As I kept doing well in gymnastics, I also started sharing my journey on social media. I posted pictures and videos of my training, competitions, and everyday life. People started following me, and my audience grew.
I liked connecting with people through social media. It was a way to share my gymnastics experience and show who I am. As more people followed me, I also started working with brands. I balanced my gymnastics career and social media presence by managing my time well. This allowed me to keep up with both gymnastics and social media.
Handling Gymnastics and Social Media
It was not easy to manage both gymnastics and social media. Gymnastics requires a lot of training and focus. I spent many hours in the gym, practicing my routines and getting better at my skills. But I also stayed active on social media, sharing updates with my followers.
I made sure to stay organized so that I could do both. My strong work ethic helped me succeed in gymnastics while still being present on social media. I became an example for others who want to follow their dreams and also be active online.
Dealing with Fame
As I became more popular, I also faced challenges. Being in the public eye brought attention, but also some pressure. I had to learn how to handle the expectations of my followers and the responsibility that came with it.
People expected me to keep a positive image and stay committed to my fans. I knew that my actions could impact others, so I tried to be a good role model. I also had to deal with criticism, which was sometimes hard. But I stayed focused on my goals and didn’t let negativity stop me.
Future Goals
Looking ahead, I have many plans for the future. Gymnastics is still a big part of my life, and I want to continue competing. In 2017, I accepted a full athletic scholarship to Louisiana State University (LSU) for gymnastics. I am excited to join the team and compete at the collegiate level.
Apart from gymnastics, I also love fashion and design. I enjoy creating custom leotards and being part of the design process. I work on sketches and pick fabrics with my coach, Jen. I might explore more opportunities in fashion, maybe even creating my own line of athletic wear.
Brands I Have Worked With
During my journey, I have worked with several brands. These partnerships have helped me connect with more people and share my favorite products.
Vuori Clothing
I have worked with Vuori, a brand that makes comfortable and stylish activewear. I shared their products on my social media and told my followers why I like them.
American Eagle
I also partnered with American Eagle, a popular clothing brand. I was part of their campaigns and shared my fashion choices with my audience.
Gatorade
As an athlete, I teamed up with Gatorade, a brand known for sports drinks. I promoted their products and encouraged my followers to stay hydrated during workouts.
Grubhub
I partnered with Grubhub, a food delivery service. I shared my favorite meals and promoted the convenience of ordering food through Grubhub.
These collaborations have allowed me to reach more people and share things I enjoy. I am thankful for the opportunities to work with these brands.
Conclusion
My journey in gymnastics and social media has been exciting and full of growth. I started as a little girl who loved sparkly leotards, and now I am a gymnast and social media influencer. Balancing both has been challenging, but I have learned a lot along the way.
As I move forward, I am excited about what the future holds. Whether it’s competing in gymnastics, designing leotards, or working with brands, I am ready to take on new challenges. My story shows that with hard work and determination, you can achieve your dreams and inspire others along the way.
